Here's how it works:

1. Ensure that your iPhone or iPad is connected to the same local network as your Panasonic TV.
2. Launch the Mirror for Panasonic TV app, which will automatically search for available Panasonic TVs on your network. Select the desired TV when it's found. Please note that for first-time use, your TV may prompt you to allow the connection. Simply use your TV remote control to press OK and establish the connection with your device.
3. To receive notifications about the app's functionality and any potential issues with your TV, it's recommended to turn on notifications when prompted.
4. Click on Start Mirroring to begin mirroring on the selected TV. You can then switch to any other app on your iPhone or iPad while the mirroring continues uninterrupted.
5. To stop mirroring, you have two options: click on the red top bar visible on your device, or open the Mirror for Panasonic TV app and select Stop Mirroring.

Limitations and known issues:

DRM (Digital Rights Management) restrictions apply to certain apps, preventing screen mirroring. App developers have the choice to allow or block Screen Mirroring functionality. For instance, popular apps like Netflix, Disney, and AppleTV+ have opted to block this feature.

To check if an app allows Screen Mirroring, perform a simple test: Open the specific app, swipe up Control Center on your iPhone/iPad, tap on Screen Recording, and start recording the screen to your Camera Roll. Review the recorded video in your Photos app – if it displays the desired app, it means that Screen Mirroring works fine. If the video is empty, then the app does not support Screen Mirroring.
